As cuts to education budgets continue, school districts have been forced to reduce instruction to the basic curricula that appear on standardized tests. This is especially pronounced in schools that serve students of low- income families. By supporting Young Imaginations, you can help bring the benefits of music, dance, and the arts into the classroom.

Our goal is to raise $30,000. This will enable us to provide an integrated curriculum of California standard-based music and dance classes to thousands of children throughout Northern California. Your tax-deductible donation to Young Imaginations will make a real difference in the lives of local students. Many studies show that a strong arts program helps increase a student’s creativity, self-esteem, and fosters a lifelong love of learning. Together we can help students succeed.

Since 1987, Young Imaginations has provided curricula that integrate music and dance into the core of the educational process. We pursue our mission by developing and delivering highly participative programs, integrating multicultural music and dance with language, history, and math skills. In 2014, we reached more than 5,000 local children in 25 schools.
